Kamaʻāina Kids is a private, non-profit, multi-service organization. All donations will go toward the park to help maintain and upkeep the grounds/facilities, support educational and environmental programs, and this is another way to give back to the community. Donations Provide Support
Support Our Educational Programs
As we continue our efforts to develop cultural and environmental education at Heʻeia State Park, we are in search of additional funding and supplies to help keep our programs affordable for local schools and camps. Donation amounts can range from $500-$10,000. In the past we have received paper, program supplies, tables, chairs, trucks, a bulldozer, cars, tents, beds and other items which have all been put to good use.
Support scholarships and tuition assistance. Kamaʻāina Kids helps to provide tuition assistance and scholarship for parents of children attending our summer programs.
Support Our People
Kamaʻāina Kids provides initial and on-going training and professional development, and is open to additional support for our employees, as they continue their personal evolutions.
Monies donated can be used for the training of the numerous employees dedicated to preserving the history and perpetuating the values of Heʻeia State Park. We are also seeking out new partnerships that augment our ability to better serve our employees and surrounding community.
Support A Sacred Place
Given its location in the Ko'olaupoko Ahupuaʻa, Heʻeia State Park holds significant value in the history of this community, as well as a special place in the hearts of those who have grown up on the Windward side.
Donations of landscaping equipment or volunteer time to help care for the 18 acres of the park are welcomed and appreciated!
